Snow Removal Progress

Feb 11th, 2010 by christina | 2

CMU Professor Priya Narasimhan and her students have spent the last few days creating a website, CityZenMobile, where Pittsburghers can report on city road conditions. Take a look before you head out, and if you’re so inclined, submit a report yourself!

And don’t forget that Pittsburgh 311 is operating around the clock at the moment. To report an unplowed road or request transportation assistance, give them a call or submit a form online.

Thanks for covering this. It’s great that people are helping each other out by providing information of passable/non-passable roads. Would love to see more reports from Greenfield to help people navigate their way through, especially in this weather. The How’s My Street? website truly reflects the helpful nature and spirit of the city and its people.

It might be nice if the Greenfield Org. can get rid of the ice rink in front of the building. The Greenfield-Lydia bus stop is an important one, but it is treacherous to reach.
